Blame it on the Cardigan

Following my Metblogs post on the Laurelwood - which as many commentors pointed out is truly more about the obnoxious parents than the children - I learn that it's all the fault of Mr. Rogers.

That sweater and tennis shoes thing was always a little weird.

I laughed so hard at that post because the honest truth is I would never go to that place. I wouldn't want to be there and I wouldn't want my daughter to be there to see the horrid behavior that some of those kids are allowed to demonstrate.

Yikes.

And there isn't such a fine line between making kids think they are so special that the world should be handed to them on a plate and making them understand that hard work, manners and being a good person not an obnoxious spoiled little brat will take you far...

The problem with many of the kids who are trashing little play areas is often not the "you are so special" thing but more the "Your parents don't pay attention AT ALL" thing.

Sigh.

I thought that was a really good post.

Still doesn't change the fact that you are self-centered, intolerant, and whinny.

What? The Laurelwood has wild kids and they make you want to stay away from the bar? I know! Lets whine about it! Have a tantrum! Do just what some of the kids do!

That will show 'em.

the horrid behavior is a direct result of the parents lack of control. by why pray tell does a pub need a play ground? surely the rug rats could be let outside in a stroller?
